ROAD TO MANHOOD...
Praise GOD!! Going for Nation service (ARMY) in less than 4 weeks!! Most of the people i know is not looking forward to it! HA! I Am!! Its gonna be a challenging time with the zZzZZZ Monster! ha! People may worry if its gonna affect their spiritual life...From the way i see it, i think its gonna be a time that makes ya even stronger!! Hey, i love the army! call me nuts but i love it...its MAN's stuff...wat's more, got a free trainer to help me keep fit...Anyway even if im tired & everything, i still will go to the House of God!!! i rather fall sleep in the house of God than sleeping at my house enjoying comfort!! Will army cost me to "BACKSLIDE"? i say "NO"! "NEVER"! i refuse to think negative but focus on the positive!! WAt exactly is backslide? its never in my dictionary!! ha! I believe that when a man have a vision, nth, no Angels in Heaven, No demons in hell & NO person in earth can stop that vision!!! take Moses for example, Look with me at Heb 11:24-27...
By faith Moses, when he was grown up, denied himself to be the son of Pharao's daughter / Rather choosing to be afflicted with the people of God than to have the pleasure of sin for a time / Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasure of the Egyptians. For he looked unto the reward / By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the fierceness of the king: for he endured, as seeing him that is invisible...
What Can Visions do?
1) It can help you to make difficult decisions!
v24 says: Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's Daughter
Moses gave up his royal/Prince position and the pleasures of Egypt!
Why did he make that decision? cos he saw a much greater calling, great vision
2)Help you to be willing to pay the price...
v25 - Choosing to be afflicted with the people...
the price was enduring ill-treatment...
He was going to endure instead of enjoy...WHY? he had a vision!!
Just like Jesus himself...Why is He so willing to endure the pain, to pay the price? He had a vision of me & you!!
3)Live for eternal not the temporary...
Moses Considered the reproach of Jesus more valueable than the treasures of Egypt...
But the question is, why did he choose the reproach of Jesus more valueable than the treasures of Egypt? The things we have now is only temporary but GOD is eternal!! the treasures of Egypt is present, but he was looking to a future reward! He lives for Tomorrow instead of today...
*4)Visions help you to overcome your fear in your life!!
Without a shadow of a doubt, a vision can help us pay the price and it can make us to rise above all fear in our lives!! FOCUS on your vision! no matter how BIG the mountain is in front of you...How BIG is your vision?? Mountains are big, Yes! but Mountains cant grow, But we can!! our visions can be much bigger than you think!! Press on to the upward call of Christ!! FOCUS!! Wat can a mountain do to us? =)
